A Tehran-based company has announced they have for the first time in Iran produced British Standard BS-8300 grab bars for the use in occupational medicine and physiotherapy. The company, KTMA, made the announcement on their achievement in breaking the technical barriers in regards to the molding and fabrication of the products.
KTMA also stated that the company achieved the European standard by creating special argon welding and steel bending machines to produce the new physical aid items. BS-8300 looks at the design of buildings and their ability to meet the requirements of disabled and elderly people.
