Iran will establish overseas hubs for the export of its technological products, said the deputy of international affairs for the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology on Saturday.

Ali Morteza Birang told MNA that although his organization will support the establishment of these hubs, they will not be state-owned.

“The hubs will be founded by knowledge-based companies, and will be totally privately-owned,” said Birang.

Knowledge-based companies that are willing to export their products overseas need to have a history of participation in international technology expositions, he asserted.

Two such hubs have been already established in China and Iraq, announced the deputy.

Birang also asserted that by the end of the current Iranian year (ending March 21, 2015), Iran will have set up two or three more new technology export hubs in other countries.
