Iran exported more than 2,100 tons of non-oil goods worth $7.9 million to France during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 20-July 21), which shows a 46% increase compared to the same period last year, the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration reported.

Pistachio, saffron, carpet, raisin, caviar, polyethylene and rosewater were among the main exports. Iran imported 40,800 tons of goods worth $301.9 million from the European country, indicating a 75% hike year-on-year.

Imports mainly included tires, steel products, auto parts, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment.
