Referring to the achievements of Iran’s nuclear deal with world powers, the former head of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture said the agreement had been beneficial for the private sector. “Our private sector managed to obtain necessary permits to start cooperating with foreign countries such as European ones,” Mohsen Jalalpour was also quoted as saying by ICCIMA’s website. “The second window of opportunity created as a result of the JCPOA was getting renewed access to SWIFT (the global interbank messaging system),” he said, adding that establishing banking correspondent relations, linking with small  banks and rekindling economic connections following the visits of foreign delegations were the nuclear agreement’s other benefits. Jalalpour has recently tendered his resignation, citing ill health as the reason.
