The first phase of construction has begun on the Gohar Lorestan food factory, affiliated to the Bank Meli Iran. In the opening ceremony of the factory attended by Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli and BMI officials, the minister thanked the bank for kick-starting a project of great magnitude. He recommended the people of Lorestan region to get ready to become future shareholders of the company when production is complete.
