Insurance Training

Foreign entities such as JLT, Willis, Swiss Re, Zurich Re, National Insurance Academy, Asian Re, Thomas Cooper, RFIB, and some universities such as KU Leuven and Monash have conducted short-term and long-term seminars and courses in Iran. They also have been consulted for training, knowledge production, publication of books and journals, said head of the Insurance Research Centre, Amir Safari on the sidelines of the ninth exchange, banking and insurance exhibition (FINEX 2016).  There is no legal barrier for the presence of foreign investors in Iran’s insurance market, IRC’s website quoted him as saying on Tuesday. As per law foreigners are allowed 49% equity in domestic insurance companies but can fully own or establish off-shore insurance companies.
