Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 80.70 points or 0.11% to end Tuesday trade at 73,736.

More than 1 billion shares valued at $91.5 million were traded for the day.

Fars Cement Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.9% to 7,785 rials per share.

Industry and Mine Investment Company was the biggest riser, going up 5% to 1,660 rials per share.

Khuzestan Steel Company weighed the most on TEDPIX, followed by automaker SAIPA and Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by Ghadir Investment Company and Bank Mellat.

The Price Index shed 59.60 points or 0.22% to end at 26,642.

The First Market Index gave up 63.20 points or 0.12% to settle at 51,343.2. The Second Market Index was down by 137 points or 0.08% to post 162,741. The Industry Index retreated by 97.60 points or 0.16% to reach 61,101.6.

The Free Float Index lost 184.02 points or 0.22% to hit 82,337.50.

The TSE 30 Index withdrew by 1.40 points or 0.05% to register 2,993.7 while the TSE 50 Index fell by 0.40 points or 0.01% to finish at 2,919.6.

The over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX shed 5.55 points or 0.72% to end Tuesday trade at 770.4.

Over 142 million securities valued at $22.7 million were traded for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company saw the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 16 million of its shares worth $1.1 million changed hands.

Tuka Paint Company, Zangan Zinc Industries Company and Saina Company had the highest share value increase.

Marjankar Company, Lavan Oil Refining Company and Damavand Power Generation Company posted the highest decline.

Bank Day, Omid Taban Hour Energy Management Company and Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company were also on investors’ radar.

Damavand Power Generation Company, Tehran Oil Refining Company and Zagros Petrochemical Company weighed the most on IFX.
