Almost 615 tons of local and foreign soybean meal was offered on the agricultural trading floor at Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) on Tuesday, the IME’s PR and foreign affairs office reported.

480 tons of local soybean meal with the base price of 17,500 rials, and 20 tons of Brazilian soybean meal worth 16,850 rials per kg were traded on the agricultural trading floor.

Moreover, 100 tons of Argentinean soybean meal with the base price of 17,100 rials as well as 15 tons of local rapeseed meal with the base value of 12,370 rials per kg were up for grabs.

Close to 200 tons of local maize, 250 tons of cubic sugar, 1,000 tons of durum wheat, and 200 tons of Indian rice were among other agricultural commodities offered at the IME.

The report also said that 25,800 tons of bloom with the base price of 15,290 rials per kg, supplied by Khuzestan Steel Company (KSC) was traded on the industrial and mining trading floor. KSC also reportedly offered 20,000 tons of slabs C worth 15,020 rials per kg.

Furthermore, 41,000 tons of various polymers of local petrochemical complexes including polypropylene were offered on the oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Close to 63,000 tons of bitumen of different grades, 12,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, 3,000 tons of heavy lube-cut oil, 1,500 tons of sulfur lumps, and 300 tons of slack wax were listed on the same trading floor.

According to the report, 106,000 tons of bitumen of various grades was offered by Pasargad Oil Company on the export trading floor. In addition, 10,000 tons of bitumen supplied by Black Gold Bitumen Company as well as 10,000 tons of bitumen 60/70 were offered on the oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Nearly 2,000 tons of bitumen 40/50 and 2,000 tons of bitumen 85/100 were on the board by other local customers.

Overall, 315,000 tons of various commodities were supplied on the spot market at the IME on Tuesday.
