More than 1.4 billion shares valued at $77.1 million were traded for the day.
Sakht Ajand Company incurred the biggest loss among TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.89% to 5,487 rials per share.
Iran Zinc Mines Development Company was the biggest riser, going up 5% to 1,681 rials per share.
Parsian Oil and Gas Development Company weighed most on the benchmark, followed by Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company and Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company. SAIPA gave the biggest lift to TEDPIX, followed by Tamin Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Investment Company and Bank Saderat.
The Price Index shed 90.90 points or 0.34% to stop at 26,888.
The First Market Index gave up 243.70 points or 0.47% to reach 51,403.1. The Second Market Index lost 139.60 points or 0.09% to settle at 163,681.4.
The Industry Index was down 297.91 points or 0.41% to register 61,320.3. The Free Float Index wiped 297.91 points or 0.36% to finish at 83,033.20. The TSE 30 Index went down 10.70 points or 0.35% to post 3,004.6, while the TSE 50 Index fell by 10.50 points or 0.36% to hit 2,922.5.

Iran Fara Bourse’s benchmark index, IFX, shed 4.6 points or 0.46% to end Wednesday trade at 775.87.
Over 326 million securities valued at $18.9 million changed hands for the day.
More than 31 million securities valued at $1.3 million were traded in the First Market. The Second Market witnessed the trading of 77 million securities valued at $5.7 million.
Esfahan Steel Company saw the highest number of traded shares and daily trade value, as 35.3 million of its shares worth $2.7 million changed hands.
Bahman Leasing Company, Niroo Sarmayeh Company and Zangan Zinc Industries Company had the highest share value increase. Gostaresh Tejarat va Sarmayeh Iranian, Goharan Omid Company and Pegah Fars Company registered the highest decline.
Tehran Oil Refining Company, MAPNA Group and Tourism Bank weighed most on IFX.
Etemad Fund registered the highest trade volume among listed exchange-traded funds with the transaction of 516,000 of its shares.
