Head of the union of nuts exporters in Iran said Russia is the probable future market for Iranian pistachio. Mohammad Hassan Shams Fard said Iran previously exported the product to Russia, but considering the recent sanctions imposed by the US, Iran has a better opportunity compared to the US, to seize the Russian market.
