The Iran-Azerbaijan joint bank will begin operations next year, Central Bank of Iran Governor Valiollah Seif told Azeri-Press Agency. “Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev reached agreement on cooperation in the banking sector,’’ Seif said. Constructive talks were held during the recent visit of the chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Bank, Elman Rustamov to Tehran.
