The National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICIC) has offered various types of copper on the industrial and mining trading floor of the Iran Mercantile Exchange on Sunday, IME’s public relations and foreign affairs office reported.

According to the report, based on the market demand, 4,000 tons of copper cathodes, worth 211,967 rials per kg were up for grabs by the NICIS on the corresponding trading floor.

Moreover, 3,500 tons of copper wire at the base price of 218,916 rials per kg, 30,000 tons of low-grade copper, 200 tons of molybdenum-sulfur, and 12 tons of precious metals concentrates were to be offered by the NICIC on the same trading floor.

Furthermore, 270 tons of copper wire, valued at 219,466 rials per kg was offered by the Copper World Company on the industrial and mining floor.

The report also added that 13,320 tons of rebar A13–14–28 as well as 5,480 tons of rebar A3–12–32 were offered by 2 local steel manufacturers on the same trading floor.

In addition to metals, 31,000 tons of bitumen of different grades, 17,000 tons of lube-cut oil, 7,000 tons of vacuum bottom, 3,800 tons of granulated sulfur and 2,168 tons of petrochemicals were listed on the IME’s board on the oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Close to 11,250 tons of bitumen of various grades as well as 500 tons of insulations were also up for grabs on the export trading floor.

1,000 tons of durum wheat plus 250 tons of cubic sugar, and 300 tons of corn were traded on the agricultural trading floor.

Totally, 130,000 tons of various commodities were offered for trade to the potential customers on the spot market of the IME on Sunday.
