Eximbank of Russia is willing to help boost commercial relations between Iran and Russia by opening credit lines and multicurrency bank accounts for traders, Eximbank deputy chief, Zolotarev Levan Viktorovich, said during a visit to Bank Melli Iran head office in Tehran on Sunday. He suggested that the two banks finalize an agreement to this effect by July, BMI website reported. Mohammad Reza Hosseinzadeh, CEO of the top Iranian state lender, pointed to the presence of BMI subsidiary, Mir Business Bank, in Russia and said the banking sector should pave the way for expanding two-way trade. ”Mir Business Bank is the only Iranian-founded bank operating in Russia. The bank is 100% owned by the Iranian government and has a central branch in Moscow.
