Minister of Economy Ali Tayyebnia, appointed Mohammad Reza Hosseinzadeh as the chief of Bank Melli Iran. Hosseinzadeh, a member of BMI’s board of directors, was serving as the interim head of the bank after its former director, Abdolnasser Hemmati was appointed as head of the Central Insurance company of Iran two weeks ago, ISNA reported on Sunday. Hosseinzadeh, 52, has worked for BMI since 1988.
