Tehran Stock Exchange’s all-share index TEDPIX lost 303.60 points or 0.4% to end trade at 76,387 on Sunday. Oil refineries, banks and engineering and mining holdings weighed most on the benchmark.

Close to one billion shares valued at $55.6 million changed hands for the day, down $10 million compared to Saturday.

Zar Spring Company incurred the biggest loss as its shares gave up 4.86% of their value to stop at 2,722 rials each, followed by Bahman Investment Company and Machine Sazi Arak.

Pars Switch Company posted the biggest gain, going up 5% to 8,869 rials per share, followed by Motogen Company and Iran Credit Investment Company.

Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company was the biggest laggard, as it lost 3.60% of its share value to 4,976 rials each. Bank Mellat and MAPNA Group followed.

Esfahan Oil Refining Company provided the biggest boost to TEDPIX, as its share value went up 2.44% to 3,026 rials each. Omid Investment Company and National Iranian Copper Industries Company came next.

The Price Index lost 111.10 points or 0.40% to stop at 27,940.2.

The First Market Index shed 217 points or 0.40% to reach 53,482.6.

The Second Market Index gave up 635.80 points or 0.38% to finish at 166,857.2.

The Industry Index was down 200.70 points or 0.31% to register 63,716.6.

The Free Float Index fell by 370.96 points or 0.43% to end at 84,986.80.

The TSE 30 Index lost 17.40 points or 0.56% to post 3,117 while the TSE 50 Index dropped by 13.80 points or 0.45% to settle at 3,055.4.

IFX, Iran Fara Bourse’s main index, shed 5.38 points or 0.65% to close at 819.93.

Over 200 million securities valued at $41.9 million were traded in 24,000 transactions. The number of shares traded and daily trade value posted significant drops compared to Saturday.

Alvand Housing Investment Company, Shahed Development and Construction Company and Arfa Steel Company posted the highest rise in share value. Lavan Oil Refining Company, Marjankar Company and Pars Paper Company recorded the biggest losses.

Bank Day, Tehran Oil Refining Company and Tehran Housing Investment Company weighed most on the IFX.

Pars Paper Company recorded the highest number of traded shares, as 37.1 million of its shares changed hands. With the trading of $15.2 million worth of shares, Damavand Electricity Company topped IFB’s charts in terms of daily trade value.

Etemad Fund, with the transaction of 4.2 million shares, recorded the highest trade volume among listed exchange-traded funds. Furthermore, 74,360 leasing bonds of MAPNA Group valued at $2.1 million were sold out.
