The Iran Mercantile Exchange had a bustling trading day, as 8 local suppliers offered various petroleum commodities on the export trading floor, IME’s public relations and international affairs office reported Saturday.
According to the report, 3,500 tons of granulated sulfur with the base price of $95 per ton was to be offered by Arak Oil Refinery Company.
Moreover, 2,850 tons of bitumen of different grades, as well as 400 tons of insulation were up for grabs on the export trading floor.
The report also said that different polymer products and chemicals of various petrochemical complexes were to be traded on the oil and petrochemical trading floor. Furthermore, 13,300 tons of bitumen of various grades, 12,000 tons of vacuum bottom, 8,000 tons of heavy lube-cut oil, and 600 tons of sulfur lumps were offered to be purchased by local buyers.
Almahdi Aluminum Company offered 1,000 tons of 99.5 purity aluminum ingots with the base price of 69,350 rials on the mining and industrial trading floor. Meanwhile, it has been announced that considering the market demand, 2,000 tons of the same grade could be up for grabs.
Hormozgan Aluminum Company also announced that based on the market demand, 1,400 tons of 99.97 purity ingots would be offered to be listed for trade on the IME’s main board.
The report also added that 1,700 tons of corn, 1,000 tons of durum wheat, and 250 tons of cubic sugar were to be traded on the agricultural trading floor.
Overall, 80,000 tons of various commodities were to be offered on the spot market at the IME.
