Big Gov’t Undermines Private Mining

The excessive size of the government undermines the viability of private firms operating in the mining sector, according to the head of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization. Mehdi Karbasian, who is also deputy minister of industries, mining and trade, blames bureaucracy for inefficiencies in the way of government support for private miners, IMIDRO reported on its website on Monday.
