Khorasan Steel Complex Files Record Exports

Khorasan Steel Complex exported a record high of 32,000 tons of steel products to Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan from February 20 to April 19 (the Iranian months of Esfand and Farvardin), the company reported on its website. The report added that the two-month figure equals the total amount of exports in the preceding 11 months. KSC says it is planning to export 30% of its annual production and intends to add Oman, the UAE and Egypt to the list of export destinations. Established in 1989 by the giant Japanese steelmaker Kobe Steel, Khorasan Steel Complex is located in the northeastern Khorasan Razavi Province with a production capacity of 700,000 tons of steel products a year.
