Post Bank Remains State-Owned

According to a decree passed by the Cabinet last month, 51% of Post Bank’s shares will remain in the hands of the government. Given the government’s responsibilities to provide banking services to remote areas – a specialty of Post Bank – and towns, the process of privatizing more than 49% of  Post Bank shares will be halted, bankemardom.ir reported on Sunday.
