The Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran is holding the Eighth International Course on Islamic Capital Markets from May 2-4. The event will be attended by high-caliber Islamic and economic figures from various countries, including but not limited to Germany, South Korea, Pakistan, Norway and India. On the first day of the course, participants will be taken on a tour of pivotal entities in Iran’s capital market, including Tehran Stock Exchange and Iran Mercantile Exchange. In the next two days, latest developments in the Iranian capital market will be discussed in a set of presentations and panels. The main scope of the program includes structure and performance of Islamic funds and bonds; financial risks of investing in Islamic securities; and brokerage and investment banking services in the Sharia-compliant framework.
