The Central Insurance company of Iran has urged insurance firms to remove misleading billboards from the cities. The measure comes after some insurers put ads purporting to pay extra returns on life insurance policies, CII website reported on Tuesday. As per law, the legal rate of return for life insurance policies should not exceed 18% for five-year contracts, and 15% for longer contracts.
