The export value of white Portland cement and iron ore with a purity of less than 40 percent have reached $1.2 billion within the first half of the current Iranian year, ending Sep. 22, ILNA reported.

Iron ore exports within the mentioned period recorded more than $497 million, accounting for a 3 percent of total export value of the same period.

The export price recorded $66 for iron ore per ton, which demonstrates a 1 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

According to the report, white Portland cement’s export value (except those artificially colored), reached $330 million, which accounts for 2 percent of total export value within the first six months of the current year.

The base price of white Portland cement for export was set for $60 per ton, indicating a 92 percent decline compared to the same period last year.

With regards to the top 10 commodities being exported within the same period, in group metals, hot-rolled steel export value notched $411 million, which accounts for 2.5 percent of the total export value within that period.

The total value of non-oil exports (commodities, services and condensate) within the first half of the year, reached $28.187 trillion, indicating an 18 percent growth compared to the same period last year.
