Debar, I-Beam Market

Long products market in Iran was quiet last week, according to irsteel.com. Debar price dropped around 100,000 rials per ton and the average price of Esfahan Origin debar declined from 18.8 million rials per ton to 17.98 million rials. Price of debar from other producers also dropped. I-beam price decreased 80,000 rials per ton to 18.25 million rials. Market inventory has bottomed and warehouses are almost empty, so market’s participants hope that stockpiling slightly improve market sentiment. Meanwhile, Iranian steel producers are trying to increase export; some analysts believed that sanctions against Russia would be a new chance for improving Iran steel export.
