IFX Up Nearly 5%

Fara Bourse recorded trading of more than 366,630,000 shares worth 1,514 billion rials on Wednesday. These numbers pushed up the market's main index IFX by 4.9 percent.

Wednesday's traders carried out 17,442 transaction rounds. Through all primary, secondary, and base markets, Zayanderoud Housing Investment Company recorded the highest amount of transactions, both in terms of value and volume of transactions. The company recorded a total trading of over six million shares valued at 24.48 billion rials.   

As for changes in price per shares, the shares of Afranet Co., Iran Cultural and Tourism Investment Group Co. (SAMGA), and the rights offerings of SAMGA recorded the highest increase; while Fars and KhuzestanTadbirgaran Investment Co. and Taknar Copper Mine Complex recorded the highest fall in their share prices.

The trading symbol of Arman Insurance Co. and Karafarin Insurance Co. was reopened for trading with a 50 percent volatility limit. Rights offering for Tolid Daru pharmaceutical company and the partnership bonds of Tehran Oil Refining Co. were closed for the session.  

On the IP market, MAPNA Group recorded the highest rate of transactions by trading a total of 15,990 mortgage bonds. Finally, on the Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) floor, ASAS Investment Co., with 23,628 shares and Atlas Investment Fund with 182 million rials worth of trades, recorded the highest volume and value of transactions, respectively.
