Bulgarian Banking Ties

Representatives from Bulgarian banks are in Tehran to discuss the reestablishment of banking relations between the two countries, Bulgaria’s Deputy Minister of Economy Lyuben Petrov said on Monday. The official noted that his country is seeking to revive its pre-sanctions trade volume of $1 billion with Iran, Tasnim News Agency quoted Petrov as saying. Bulgarian delegates also visited Iran Trade Promotion Organization to discuss ties with Iranian companies.
