A German company will supply gantry cranes for use in the development of Shahid Rajaei Port in Iran’s southern Hormozgan Province, after winning a tender floated by the Ports and Maritime Organization, IRNA reported without mentioning the name of the company. PMO is redesigning and developing Shahid Rajaei—one of Iran’s busiest ports—to increase its capacity to 150 million tons from the current 90 million tons.
