Bank Maskan (Housing Bank) has sent a proposal to the Central Bank of Iran for launching local affiliate banks. Mohammad Hashem Botshekan, Maskan’s CEO, said that the CBI has welcomed the proposal and has prepared draft regulations for establishment of local financial institutions, banker.ir reported on Monday. Bank Maskan will launch two affiliates, one for developing the deprived Mokran region in Sistan-Balouchestan, and one in Tehran to help the renovation of old urban areas.
