Tehran Hosts Aviation Summit

The International Summit of Development of Iran’s Aviation and Airports opened at Tehran’s Azadi Hotel on Monday. The two-day event is hosting representatives of 50 international companies and economic delegations from 15 countries, including Germany, France, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom and Belgium. The visiting parties are gauging investment opportunities in Iran’s aviation sector, IRNA reported. B2B meetings and an exhibition are also scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the summit. A similar event dubbed “Iran Aviation Summit 2016” was held in Tehran on January 24-25, which hosted 150 industrialists, experts and chiefs of aviation operators and suppliers from across the world, such as International Air Transport Association and International Civil Aviation Organization.
