A business delegation comprising representatives of Japan’s largest mining and steel companies, including Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metal Co., Mitsubishi, Kawasaki, Toshiba and JGC holdings, has met with the head of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization, Mehdi Karbasian, in Tehran. The visitors expressed readiness to finance Iranian projects in the fields of mining machinery production, energy-efficient solutions and environment, IMIDRO’s website reported on Tuesday. Representatives of Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and Japan’s New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization–the country’s largest public management organization promoting research and development–were also part of the visiting delegation.
