Iran’s exclusive exhibition opened in Oman’s capital city of Muscat on Tuesday and will run through January 30.
The event aims to increase cooperation with Oman’s businesses to boost the share of Iranian companies in the Persian Gulf state’s market and promote Iranian exports, according to Trade Promotion Organization of Iran.
“More than 50 specialized firms, services and trade companies will offer products and services in the exhibition, alongside trade meetings between Iranian economic players and Omani businesses,” Mehr News Agency quoted Seyyed Ali Etedali, executive manager of the exhibition, as saying.
The official added that the exhibition provides Iranian businesses with investment, trade and manufacturing opportunities regarding consumer goods, banking, insurance, technical and engineering services, in addition to tourism and handicraft sectors.
To gain a foothold in the Arab country’s market, Iran has also established a permanent fairground in Muscat.
