Iran produced more than 19 million tons of iron ore concentrates from March to December 2015, indicating a 1% rise compared with last year’s corresponding period, Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported on its website Saturday. According to the report, Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company accounted for more than 7.6 million tons of the overall figure; Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company for 6.5 million tons; Iran Central Iron Ore Company for over 2.7 million tons; Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Company for about 1.8 million tons; and Sangan Iron Ore Mine for 650,500 tons.
