More than 750,000 tons of minerals worth $17.1 million were exported from Hormozgan Province to the UAE, Oman, China and India during the nine-month period ending December 21, indicating a 43% and 25% growth in volume and value respectively compared to last year’s similar period, according to the southern province’s Industries, Mining and Trade Organization. Gypsum, iron ore, chromium, sand and gravel were the main export commodities, IRNA reported.
