Drivers’ performance and third-party vehicle insurance data will go online by Jan. 20 in an attempt to enhance transparency and ease of data transfer for the industry. The planned system will help the Central Insurance of Iran -- the industry regulator-- in organizing and processing third party policy data provided by insurance firms, ISNA reported on Monday. By connecting to the police database, the system will also offer data validation services to prevent scams and fraud. The company also intends to encourage insurers upgrade their services by digitalizing operations. The system is expected to be fully developed within six months.
