Mobarakeh Steel Company supplies nearly half of the raw materials and steel products needed by 3,000 domestic manufacturers of pipes and profiles, oil, gas and petrochemicals, autos and auto parts, home appliances, heavy and light metals and ships, according to the company’s managing director, Bahram Sobhani.
The company has the capacity to annually produce 7.5 million tons of hot- and cold-rolled, tin-plated, galvanized, pre-painted steel sheets and coils as well as slabs, 30% of which are exported every year, IRNA quoted Sobhani as saying.
Mobarakeh Steel Company, located in Isfahan Province, is the largest steelmaker in the Middle East and North Africa, and one of the largest industrial complexes operating in Iran.
