EDBI Discount

The Export Development Bank of Iran offers export loans with rates between 16-21%, said Ali Salehabadi, the bank CEO, eximnews.ir reported. For regular loans the rate is 21% but for Musharakah loans (joint ventures) the bank gives discounts as high as 8% from the 24% rate approved by the Money and Credit Council the official was quoted as saying.
