The first international conference on tiles, ceramics, and sanitary ware will be held at the Olympic Hotel’s conference center in Tehran on November 29-30, IRNA reported. The event, which is held in cooperation with Iranian Ceramic Society, is to host participants and experts from Italy, Spain, Australia, and Turkey. The exhibition is aimed at introducing the achievements of Iranian companies in the field. Iran is now the fourth biggest manufacturer and producer of tiles and ceramics in the world, said Mohammad Roshanfekr, chairman of the guild of ceramic and tile manufacturers.
