Over 67,000 tons of various commodities were up for grabs on the spot market at the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) on Saturday, the IME’s public relations and foreign affairs office reported. According to the report, 30 types of commodities were traded on the oil and petrochemical trading floor. Almost 25,000 tons of polymers and chemicals were offered by a variety of domestic petrochemical companies. Moreover, 40,000 tons of bitumen of various grades were on the table on the same trading floor. The report also added that 720 tons of insulation were purchasable on the export trading floor. Furthermore, 1,600 tons of durum wheat as well as 250 tons of cubic sugar, and other commodities were available on the agricultural trading floor.
