Kish Hosts Marine Industries Confab

First Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri opened the 17th Marine Industries Conference and Exhibition in Kish on Tuesday. The conference, which aims to introduce the capabilities and latest achievements in marine and port equipment and industries as well as identify domestic and foreign investment opportunities, will run through December 25, IRNA reported. Companies from Italy, Spain, the UAE, Turkey, the US, China, Japan, Denmark, South Korea, Germany, Norway, India, Singapore, the Netherlands and Russia are participating in the event. “Iran would need more than 400 types of sailing vessels in the next five years,” said the head of Industrial Development and Renovation Organization, Reza Norouz-Zadeh, at the conference.
