$360m Worth of Gov’t Shares Sold Out

Iranian Privatization Organization sold 13.2 trillion rials (about $360 million) worth of government-owned stocks from the start of the Iranian year (March 21) until December 5. The IPO offered 88% of the stocks on exchanges and sold the rest via tenders during the eight and a half months, ISNA reported. Almost all of the stocks were sold in blocks to institutional investors.
