According to Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation, 17.8 million tons of iron ore concentrate were produced during the eight months ending November 21, indicating a 1% increase compared with last year’s corresponding period. Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company, Chadormalu Mining Company, Iran Central Iron Ore Company, Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Company and Sangan Iron Ore Complex accounted for 6.1 million tons, 5.2 million tons, 2.4 million tons, 1.6 million tons and 650,400 tons of the overall production figure respectively.
