Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index inched up 17.00 points or 0.03% to settle Tuesday trade at 62,233.3.
Over 376 million shares valued at more than $21.9 million changed hands to record about 13% and 25% rise in trade volume and value respectively compared to Monday.
The Price Index crawled up 6.60 points or 0.03% to end at 24,225.8. The First Market Index increased 44.40 points or 0.10% to reach 42,757.2. The Second Market Index withdrew 151.80 points or 0.11% to register 140,724.2. The Industry Index shed 36.50 points or 0.07% to finish at 51,587.1.
The Free Float Index gained 90.62 points or 0.13% to hit 68,279.40 points. The TSE 30 Index rose 4.10 points or 0.16% to record 2,618 and the TSE 50 Index inched up 1.20 points or 0.05% to close at 2,534.6.
More than half of the listed companies worked against the benchmark. Tamin Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Investment Company was the biggest market laggard with 18.1 points, followed by MAPNA Group and Informatics Services Corporation with 11.1 and 9.65 points respectively.
Bank Ansar with 19.05 points provided the biggest boost to TEDPIX. Bank Tejarat and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company ranked second and third with 16.91 and 13.4 points respectively.
IFX Rises
Iran Fara Bourse’s all-share index remained in green and ticked up 8.12 points or 1.19% to end Tuesday trade at 689.54.
According to IFB, 76.3 million securities valued at over $41.9 million changed hands, indicating a 15% and 26% rise in volume and value respectively compared to Monday.
Bank Day, with the transaction of 7.2 million shares, recorded the highest daily trade volume.
Bahman Diesel Company filed the highest value with $423,529 worth of shares changing hands.
Shirvan Sugar Company, Chaharmahal Sugar Company and Mavad-e Vizhe Lia Company registered the highest increase in shares’ value.
Taknar Copper Company, Tadbirgaran-e Fars, Khuzestan Company and Ravan Fanavar Engineering Company filed the biggest decline in value.
Marun Petrochemical Company and Tehran Oil Refining Company gave the biggest lift to IFX.
Etemad Fund, with the transaction of 1.4 million shares, registered the highest trade volume among listed exchange-traded funds. Furthermore, 500,000 participation bonds of Shiraz Municipality were sold out.
