The Money and Credit Council is tasked with considering a mechanism for establishing international banks in free trade zones, according to an official from the Center for Free and Special Economic Zones. The issue has already been discussed by officials from the CFSEZ and the central bank, said Mohammad Mo’ezzeddin, the deputy secretary for planning and investment, in the 1st international exhibition on exchange, bank, insurance, capital market and privatization, which is underway in Kish Island. However, he added, “for the successful implementation of the task, management obstacles should be removed first.”
