ADFIAP Membership Expands

The Export Development Bank of Iran has joined the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific, said an official with the bank on Saturday. Kazem Doust Husseini, advisor to the EBDI chief executive, added that EDBI membership in the association can help boost its international ties. ADFIAP, established in 1967, is an association of development banks and other financing institutions aiming to promote sustainable development by expanding its members’ resources. Publishing reports, training employees, introducing financial innovation and facilitating cooperation among members are other missions of the association. Currently, 131 financial institutions from 45 countries are ADFIAP members. The Cooperative Development Bank of Iran, Parsian Farda Investment & Financial Counselors Institute and the Bank of Industry and Mine are the other Iranian members of the association.
