Spain welcomes cooperation between City Bank of Iran and Spanish companies, said Jose Manuel Soria Lopez, Spain’s minister of industry, energy and tourism. He commended the bank for its participation in and funding of urban projects, namely in the transportation and subway sectors. Hossein Mohammadpour Zarandi, CEO of the bank called for closer ties with Spaniards and proposed the opening of credit lines for, and transfer of knowledge to, Iran.
