Iran Mercantile Exchange’s industrial and mining trading board was swept by the National Iranian Copper Industries Company’s offerings on Sunday, as the company supplied 1,000 tons of copper cathodes, 1,000 tons of copper wires, 20,000 tons of low-grade copper, 140 tons of sulfur molybdenum and 18 tons of precious metals concentrate there. The board’s other offerings include 100 tons of copper wires by Kashan Copper World Company, about 650 tons of rebars by Isfahan Steel Company, 1,600 tons of the same commodity by AFA Steel Company and 12,000 tons of aluminum oxide by Iran Alumina Company. The oil and petrochemical trading board played host to 41,700 tons of bitumen, 25,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, 22,000 tons of lube cut oil, over 10,200 tons of petrochemicals and 1,000 tons of sulfur. Some 2,000 tons of bitumen and 1,000 tons of granulated sulfur were supplied on the export trading board. Finally, 4,000 tons of durum wheat, 2,000 tons of soybeans, 1,400 tons of unprocessed vegetable oil and 300 tons of white sugar were supplied on the agricultural trading board. Overall, 156,000 tons of various commodities were supplied at IME on Sunday.
