The southern Kish Island is hosting 105 domestic and 15 international companies, which are taking part in two coinciding events, IRNA reported. The 1st International exhibition on exchange, bank, insurance, capital market and privatization, as well as the 6th exhibition on introducing investment opportunities kicked off on October 21 in the Persian Gulf International Conference hall of the island. The events, which are expected to run through October 25, are aimed at introducing the capabilities of domestic and foreign financial institutions, Iranian banks’ recent achievements, and products and capabilities of companies involved in the capital market of Iran. The two exhibitions also seek to get Iranian entities more familiar with modern banking services and up-to-date insurance services.
