Officials from the Central Bank of Iran, Management and Planning Organization, and Ministry of Industries, Mines and Trade discussed implementation of the government’s plan to offer credit cards, Tasnim News Agency reported. However, head of the Home Appliance Sellers’ Union, Muhammad Tahanpour, said the new cards would be distributed by the end of the week. The cards are planned to help boost the market for domestic goods.
