Financial Tribune hosted a gathering of Iranian commercial attachés on Monday.
The event was organized by managing director Alireza Bakhtiari, who is also the owner of our sister newspaper Donya-e-Eqtesad.
Iranian envoys to China, South Africa, Thailand, Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Indonesia, Belarus, Tunisia, Iraq, Nigeria, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Oman, Afghanistan, Turkey and Italy were present at the meeting, along with Valiollah Afkhamirad, the head of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran.
The event sought to highlight the role of Financial Tribune as Iran's only English-language business newspaper amid the new economic climate following the landmark nuclear agreement between Iran and world powers and the ensuing lifting of sanctions, which paves the way for the expansion of the country's economic ties with the international community.
