Four infrastructure projects in the mining sector with a total investment of $2.5 million will become operational by the end of the current Iranian year (March 2016), the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization has announced. Three of the projects will provide road access to two mines in Khorasan Razavi Province, and one in West Azarbaijan Province. The fourth project is set to electrify a limestone mine in West Azarbaijan. According to IMIDRO, currently 45 other infrastructure development projects are underway nationwide with a total investment of $37.3 million, IRNA reported.
