Central Bank of Iran has denied the existence of counterfeit 500,000 rial Iran Checks. Amir Shokri, head of CBI Money Printing Department, said that new 500,000 checks contain high-security features, the bank's website reported Thursday. He added that Iran Checks have been redesigned to prevent forgeries. "Offset see-through register, latent images, micro-texts and intaglio microprints' are key security features" of the checks. Shokri recommended the people to take note of the features while dealing with the checks.
